About The Author & Blog Purpose
Author Information: Chris Silvey is a former economics doctoral student that left a full fellowship from Cornell University to pursue other interests. I am currently exploring a career in public accounting/auditing. With undergraduate degrees in economics and statistics (with honors) I have absolutely no business giving any opinions on accounting practices, taxes, or auditing…but I’ll do it anyway (all hail the mighty internet…yay!). I am a child of the 70’s, married to a woman that I have been with for nearly 10 years, and have a beautiful baby girl…the dog and house will follow as soon as I pay off my student loans. The rest you can find out by reading my internet posts.
Blog Information: In this blog I will pursue topics of interest in the fields of accounting, tax, auditing, and a smattering of statistics, economics, and financial analysis.

Ironically, I was pushing up my nose when I clicked on the link to more info about you. It almost seemed like your picture responded to me. I am not kidding.
